Alberta Cross/Pete Yorn 10/19/09

I really should have named this post the following:

The Granada Had Really Bad Lighting That Night or maybe I Could Really Use Some Faster Glass but really to cover my bases, we’re really going to call it Alberta Cross/Pete Yorn – A Study in Low Light and Back-Lit Situations: Silhouettes.

I had been in contact with Alberta Cross in the past few months working on a setlist project for both Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Festivals, so it was nice to actually get to hear them live this time around. They did not disappoint! Pete and his gang was also amazing, as usual. I didn’t get to hear “Burrito” or “I Feel Good Again” (Junior Kimbrough cover), but that is okay.

I also met a few new faces at the show, so here is a shout out to Carrie, Colleen and Drew! It was nice meeting you all :)
