Leave it to the wonderful folks of German descent living in Kansas to come up with a festival combining The Wizard of Oz with Oktoberfest. This weekend was OZtoberfest in Wamego, KS. Food, music, Munchkins (the original remaining ones from the movie!), and talks were sprinkled throughout the weekend. Los Habaneros performed on the entertainment stage on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I am regretting it now, but I most certainly should have put on sunscreen….
